Dr. R.S. McMillen

Dr. Scott McMillen is originally from Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated from Ontario H.S. and completed his pre-med undergraduate studies at Ashland University. He then pursued his passion for becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1984.

When Dr. McMillen was just 12 years old he injured his back playing backyard football. He was treated by 6 different medical doctors and progressively got worse. The last 2 doctors suggested surgery. His father took him to his Chiropractor and in just a few weeks he was feeling a lot better and he could begin playing sports again. As he saw patients come in and out of the chiropractors office feeling better, he decided at the age of 12 that he wanted to be a chiropractor.

Dr. McMillen loves helping a wide variety of injuries and ages. He has a passion for helping people get rid of their pain and improving their quality of life like his chiropractor did for him. He believes in offering a wide variety of natural treatments to give patients options on which care they feel most comfortable with.

When he is not helping patients, Dr. McMillen enjoys spending time with his wife, Tawnia and his 5 children who whom he enjoys spending special time with.

What do you like to do in your free time? Golfing, going to the gym and spending time with my family.

Why do you like working at McMillen Chiropractic? I like working at McMillen Chiropractic because we have an amazing team of people here who are all focused on helping people to get out of pain and regain their health!

Where did you go to high school, college, etc? Jackson High School, Kent State and New York Chiropractic College

What activities were you involved in in high school, college? Awards? Graduated with honors from New York Chiropractic College

How has chiropractic care helped you? Chiropractic care has helped me immensely in the past after an auto accident.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about going to a chiropractor? I became a chiropractor because chiropractic care helped me following an auto accident and it can help you too.

What success stories have you seen in our office that have excited you the most? The success stories that excite me the most are the patients who first come to us thinking its normal to live with back pain. After a few adjustments they're always excited to tell us how they are now pain free.

Dr. Kiana

Dr. Kiana McMillen is originally from North Canton, Ohio. She graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School and received her Bachelor of Science from Excelsior University. She then went on perdue her dream of following in her Dad’s footsteps and becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. She attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina and graduated in 2022 where her Dad was able to present her with her diploma on stage.

As a daughter of a chiropractor, Dr. Kiana grew up under continuous chiropractic care. As a result, she was fortunate enough to avoid a wide variety of common illnesses found in children. She grew up happy and healthy which when it came time to choose a career path, became very clear to her that she wanted to do for others what was given to her. A life full of health and happiness.

Dr. Kiana loves treating all ages and phases of injury with a special passion for pediatric and prenatal care. She enjoys the pediatric demographic especially due to her background of growing up getting adjusted and knowing first hand the incredible benefits. She utilizes various different techniques to treat all ages and conditions in order to give patients treatment options that best suit their needs.

Outside of treating patients, Dr. Kiana enjoys spending time with her family, and great dane, Zoë.
